PVC

Polyvinylchloride (PVC) Is a popular engineering plastic which has good mechanical properties.

PVC is a relatively hard plastic which makes it easy to machine and cut using widely available tooling. It can be easily glued using epoxy adhesives, but it is more commonly melted or welded, which provides more permanent bonded joints.

PVC can be provided in a Red, Black and Grey

PVC is popular with prototype and model builders and can also be found in wide range of household items and components.

PVC isn’t particularly good in applications where resistance to wear is required but is relatively tough and has good impact loading properties.
