Brass

Brass is available in CZ121 and CZ130. This alloy has a 3% lead content which enables self-lubricating properties and acts as a chip breaker to give some of its free machining capabilities. 

Both machine well, suitable for drilling, milling and turning. Fabrication processes such and soldering and brazing are also suited to these materials. As corrosion resistance is high, they can be used in a wide range of applications including, but not limited to, intricate components, hinges, pins, fixings, bushes and further decorative purposes.

Available in a range of section shapes including, flat, square, round, equal angle and hexagonal. This brass is supplied in the standard mill finish.
