Collection: Nylon

Nylon is available in two grades. Nylon 6 and Nylon 6.6. The difference between the two is only very slight in that Nylon 6 is perceived to be softer than Nylon 6.6, and the size range.

Both varieties are produced via an extrusion process and are available in both black and natural (cream).

A draw back of all nylon products is the materials ability to absorb moisture from damp environments. This means that the size of the manufactured items can change based on the operating and storage climate. Note that should the material be submerged in water, it can change its dimensions by as much as 7%.

Advantages of Nylon is that it has a low coefficient of friction and has good mechanical strength and can be considered a good allrounder engineering material.
